Point of care ultrasound has long been valued as a tool for performing invasive procedures safely. New applications bedside ultrasound as an acute diagnostic tool are emerging, and on this course we aim to introduce a number of ultrasound techniques to medical trainees in the region. This includes:
Three hours of small group hands-on teaching by expert faculty.
Ultrasound phantoms to practice guided procedures.
Noble & Preston’s Acclaimed Book ‘Manual of Emergency and Critical Care Ultrasound’
This course is designed to give a hands-on introduction to all modalities of ultrasound, namely:
Unfortunately we do not as yet carry any affiliation with accreditation bodies.
Accreditation in any modality will require a course and relevant scanning experience as per the Royal College of Radiologists.

There is a holding fee of £50 for this course. Please be advised that your course fee is refundable for up to 14 days following your application. Thereafter course fees are non-refundable. If you fail to attend the course or if you cancel your place after this 14 day window you will be charged the full £50
