Point of care ultrasound has long been valued as a tool for performing invasive procedures safely. New applications bedside ultrasound as an acute diagnostic tool are emerging, and on this course we aim to introduce a number of ultrasound techniques to medical trainees in the region. This includes:
Five hours of small group hands-on teaching by expert
Ultrasound phantoms to practice vascular access and fluid drainage.
Noble & Preston’s Acclaimed Book ‘Manual of Emergency and Critical Care Ultrasound’
This course is designed to give a hands-on introduction to all modalities of ultrasound. Accreditation in any modality will require a course and relevant scanning experience as per the Royal College of Radiologists.
