A one-day course providing an overview of the early management of the preterm infant to improve outcomes
Who is it for: Neonatologists, Neonatal ANNP’s and Neonatal nurses at all levels of training.
Structure of the course: After a basic overview optimization strategies specific topics including delayed cord clamping, the golden hour, less invasive surfactant administration, early nutrition and positioning and handling of the preterm infant will be explored by way of lectures, small group teaching and practical workshops.
The course will be delivered by a faculty of neonatologists with extensive experience in early management of the preterm infant and implementation and quality improvement.
