The online Preparing for the Consultant role course is open to senior trainees, who are ideally within one year of CCT.
The course will include:
Getting ready to apply for the consultant role
Preparing your application, including pre-interview visits
The interview, to include practice interviews
Understanding NHS structures and processes and writing a business case
Revalidation, GMC and professionalism
Giving evidence in the coroner's court
Responding to patient complaints
A full programme will be sent to delegates nearer the date of the course.
