FY1 VR Simulation Session 

A 3 hour VR simulation course for Addenbrooke's Foundation Y1 doctors

Using a custom built system and Oculus Rift participate in a programmes of virtual reality simulation scenarios.   Each Foundation doctor will receive a personal OMS log-in from the Foundation school and may access the scenarios throughout the year & receive individualised feedback  The rationale is that they are 'skills and drills' scenarios for you to practice to be confident and capable when approaching similar scenarios in the workplace. We are pleased to offer one facilitated VR session as a small group run in the Simulation Centre with experienced faculty.  

Two sessions will run each day - morning & afternoon on the following dates:

AM course:    08.30-11.30 

PM course: 12.30-15.30

You will participate in one scenario using the VR headset during the course & observe and participate in the debrief for the remaining scenarios.  This equates to 3 hours of core learning on your Horus personal learning log & you will receive a certiiate to evidence this attendance
