Advanced Obstetric Crisis Resource Management Simulation Course
For senior residents in anaesthetics and obstetrics
CONTENT
A one-day simulation course to:
- enhance multidisciplinary teamworking
-Develop Skill sin clinical prioritization
- Support key labour ward leadership skills
- Explore how communication and working relationships impact patient safety
- Promote senior decision-making about complex patient management
- Demonstrate hoe Enhanced Maternal Care can be embedded in practice
This course is designed specifically for: Senior Obstetric (eg. STIM Maternal Medicine module) and Anaesthetic (eg. SIA Obstetrics module) resident doctors close to the end of their training, newly-appointed consultants working in the Labour Ward, and SAS doctors and other colleagues with obstetric responsibilities as part of a multi-faceted job plan wanting opportunities to refresh their skills and support their ongoing CPD in the Obstetric setting.
Numbers are limited to 8 candidates per course.
Included: Catering, Attendance Certificate and mapped CPD outcomes to support module sign-off, and provide evidence for ARCP and appraisal.
