A half-day VR simulation course for Addenbrooke's Foundation doctors
HEE are now incorporating virtual reality simulation training into their simulation training programme, using a custom built system and Oculus Rift. Custom developed programmes of 10 simulations changing with each foundation year are installed with individualised log in and feedback. Each Foundation doctor will receive a personal OMS log-in from HEE and may access the scenarios during each foundation year The rationale is that they are 'skills and drills' scenarios for you to practice to be confident and capable of approaching similar scenarios in the workplace. We are pleased to offer one facilitated VR session as a small group run in the Simulation Centre with experienced faculty.
